Tasting Spain's fundamental flavours Mon-Sat starting midday or early evening.

This is a walking tour of the Barcelona's historic old town and includes a visit to four or five varied stops here you can sample some iconic Catalan and Spanish foodstuffs, as well as the fruit of the local vines. The tops could include:
* A chic bodega dedicated to Spanish wines, sipping a glass of one of the country's new star wines with a atching tapa.
* An old buttermaking factory, now the city's only specialist Spanish cheese shop. Try artesian farmhouse heeses - some so good you could pay your rent with it!
* A traditional tasca for cider poured from a height and flambéed devil's sausage!
* A Galician tapas bar where you can play the pepper lottery and tangle with tentacles.
* An ancient Jewish bathhouse turned into an elegant tearoom where you can feel righteous about dessert and ample sacred sweetmeats.
* A spit-and-sawdust bar for little fried fish and simple salad that was once voted Europe's best bar.
* A pintxo venue where you'll discover the secrets of this snack craze from the Basque country.
* Homemade cava and cured fish from a can in a cute Catalan xampanyeria.
* Throughout the tour, we will be pointing out little-known cultural and gastronomic landmarks, telling stories nd answering queries, enriching and enlivening your experience of this vibrant and flavourful city.
