Barcelona Event Organisation Meet Sir Richard Branson in Barcelona 2012

Another first for Barcelona Event Organisation. We had the honour of looking after Sir Richard Branson, who came to Barcelona to receive an award from the Cannabis Culture Association (see press release below). We had the honour of having a photo taken with Sir Branson at the Corporate Terminal at El Prat Airport, Barcelona.

Barcelona Event Organisation Meet Mr. Nice in Barcelona 2012

Barcelona Event Organisation looked after Howard Marks, also known as "Mr. Nice", while he was here in Barcelona to promote the Spanish premiere of his cult film Mr. Nice, in conjunction with the the Hash Marihuana Cáñamo & Hemp Museum. We had the honour of having a photo taken with Howard Marks, soon after he arrived in Barcelona. Below is a brief history of  what happened to Howard.

Howard Marks is a Welsh author and is most known for being a former drug smuggler; he was notorious for being an international cannabis smuggler. At the highest point of his career in drug smuggling, he was smuggling loads of up to thirty tons of cannabis. He has been connected with groups such as the CIA, IRA, MI6 and the Mafia. The American Drug Enforcement Administration convicted him, but he was released in 1995 serving only 7 of the 25-years he was sentenced. He was most known as Mr. Nice because he bought a passport from Donald Nice, a convicted murderer.
